Tracy Lynn McDaniel is on a remarkable journey, pursuing a master’s degree in School Counseling from Amberton University. She has previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas A&M University at Commerce and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management.
With 25 years of dedicated service as a Logistics Specialist in the United States military, Tracy retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. Her career was marked by pivotal roles, including that of the National Senior Enlisted Leader for the Center for Personal and Professional Development.
Born on February 10, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, Tracy is the proud daughter of Harold and Diann Cherry, growing up in a nurturing family with three siblings: two sisters and one brother. She is the proud mother of five wonderful children and a devoted grandmother to seven amazing grandchildren.
For over 23 years, Tracy has been a full-time teacher in the Mesquite Independent School District. In her new role as At-Risk Coordinator at a high school, she passionately supports students in need. Additionally, as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, she helps offenders facing challenges with drug and alcohol use.
With a deep passion for travel, Tracy has explored five out of the seven continents and visited over 30 states. When not traveling, she treasures quality time with her family.
